Hello! My name is Bistra Masseva and I am a professional illustrator.

Originally from Bulgaria, I am currently based in Brighton, UK. I studied at the University of Brighton and the Bulgarian Academy of Arts, specialising in book design, illustration and typography. My illustrations are hand-drawn, expressive and with a strong colour palette.

Alongside my illustration work, I am also a keen lettering artist and calligrapher.

Clients include Albert Whitman, Heinemann, Cricket Magazine, Oxford University Press, Ciela Publishing, MilkX Magazine.
